On Tuesday, 26 March 2024, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the Armour Training Centre in Avlonas, Attica, where he addressed the newly enlisted Professional Soldiers currently training there.

In his address, the Chief stressed that the objective of the training is their seamless integration into the Units and their successful utilisation based on their specialty. He also prompted them to continuously improve and upgrade their knowledge, with eagerness and dedication, while he also pointed out that high morale, being presentable, military spirit, knowledge, and skills make up the image of the ideal professional soldier. Finally, he assured them that the Hellenic Army General Staff will always stand beside them in their efforts, enabling them to surely and steadily build their career.
