The Change of Command Ceremony of the 1st “Smyrna” Infantry Division was conducted on Thursday 14 March 2019 at the “MACEDONIAN FIGHTER KAPETAN AMYNDAS” Camp by Major General Petros Demestichas to Major General Savvas Kolokouris.
The Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Georgios Kambas attended the ceremony along with representatives of the local political and religious authorities, Honorary Commanders of B’ Army Corps and the 1st Infantry Division, a delegation of active and retired Officers, as well as numerous guests.
