The Hellenic Army General Staff, in the context of its care for the military personnel and the constant upgrade of its infrastructures, proceeded to the following activities:
– Building of 2 residence complexes for Professional Soldiers in Alexandroupoli, a total of 26 apartments, of which 20 equipped with one bedroom and 6 with two. The 26 apartments are added to 19 more, built previously in Alexandroupoli.
– Delivery for use of 10 guesthouses, which came about from the full modification and restoration of the building of the Corinth Garrison’s Officers’ Club. The new guesthouses, which include playground and wireless internet network with a speed of 100 Mbps, fully respond to the modern residential requirements and provide exquisite accommodation conditions to the military personnel and their families.
– Restoration of the Periodic Medical Examination Department for Members of the Armed Forces in 414 Military Hospital for Special Diseases, whose medical rooms and waiting rooms were reconfigured, adjusted to the requirements of the Department’s function, for the more effective service of the incoming Armed Forces Members.
