On Wednesday, 06 February 2019, the C Army Corps/NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Greece Change of Command Ceremony took place in Thessaloniki, with Lieutenant General Konstantinos Koutras assuming command from Lieutenant General Dimitrios Bikos, in the presence of the Alternate Minister of National Defence, Mr. Panagiotis Rigas.
The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General (HAF) Christos Christodoulou, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kambas, the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Floros, representatives of civilian, political, and religious authorities, Honorary Chiefs and Commanding Generals of C Army Corps representatives of foreign Chiefs of Defence, Senior and General Officers of the Armed and Security Forces, as well as representatives of the Unions of Retired Officers, retired Officers, and other guests.
