The bilateral Field Training Exercise “ALEXANDER THE GREAT – 2019” was conducted from 28 December 2018 to 10 January 2019, in the wider region of Volos, with the participation of personnel and assets from the 32nd “MORAVAS” Marines Brigade and US Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
The activity was conducted at the “GLAFYRA” Firing and Exercise Range, where two exercising companies were established and fires were conducted with all the weapon systems at the two detachments’ disposal, as well as live fire exercises, with the participation of assets from the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS-LACHANAS” and the Hellenic Air Force.
