On Friday, 11 August 2023, a ceremony was held at the Parachutist School in Aspropyrgos, Attica, for the award of the static line parachutist diplomas and badges to graduates of the Basic Parachutist Training Course in the presence of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros.

The course took place from Monday, 24 July 2023, to Friday, 11 August 2023. Graduates included 29 Hellenic Military Academy cadets and 20 Career NCO School students, of which 3 cadets and 2 students from Cyprus. The course included the following tasks:

•    Parachutist PT.
•    Load packing for a jump.
•    Parachutist’s 1,610 m race.
•    Log drill in pairs.
•    Emergency procedures.
•    Jumps from a CH-47D helicopter.

The diplomas and badges were awarded to the graduates by the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis.
