The Austrian Land Forces Commander, Lieutenant General Franz Reissner, visited the Hellenic Army General Staff on Wednesday, 15 May 2019.
His visit included discussions on matters of mutual interest concerning areas of cooperation between the Land Forces of Greece and Austria, while Lieutenant General Franz Reissner and the Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Georgios Kambas, attended an exercise at the Engineer School in Loutraki, Corinthia.
The exercise involved Engineer, Army Aviation, and Medical Corps personnel and assets, while the tactical scenario was support of natural disaster relief efforts.
