An NCOs Academy delegation, consisting of 10 Students and 1 Officer, conducted an educational visit to the installations of the Safran Helicopter Engines Company, in Tarnos, France, from 09 to 18 February 2026, in the framework of EU Erasmus + Programme participation, in the field of Vocational Education and Training.

The NCOs Academy delegation was briefed on the procedures of design, development, production, and maintenance of aircraft engines, as well as modern technologies and techniques with international application, while they also attended a programme of familiarisation with the RTM 322 engines, which the NH-90 helicopters, fielded by the Hellenic Army, utilise.

This activity reinforces techniques and professional skills, offering a modern European learning experience in a real work environment, and contributes to the modernisation and upgrade of the training provided by the Academy.
