From 18 November to 13 December, the 1^st Air Combat and Tactics Course took place in the Army Aviation Training Centre in Alexandria, Imathia. Personnel and assets of the 1^st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS LAHANA” and the Army Aviation Training Centre participated in the Course.

The aim of the Course is to train operators for Army Aviation Units, who are proficient in air combat and the tactical utilisation of helicopter sections in a modern field of operations.

Additionally, the training is based on international models, based on the experience that was gained from the cooperation of the Army Aviation Training Centre with the US Marine Corps and the Israeli Air Force.
