On Monday, 26 February 2024, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis, and the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, a ceremony was held at the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) in Vari, Attica, to award an Honorary Doctorate to His Beatitude, the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos II.
