D' Army Corps
Operational training at both the National and International levels, complete knowledge of the operational environment and plans, continuous surveillance of the border and people-centered administration, are the decisive points in implementing its mission.

The emblem of the D' Army Corps
In the blue frame that symbolizes the Greek sky and the seas of our country, two helmets and a sword are projected, which are the most representative military accessories of the uniform of the warriors of Alexander the Great. The hilt of the sword is projected on the luminous disk of the rising sun, which is surrounded by a rainbow. The combination of the rainbow (symbol of peace, optimism and hope) and the hilt of the sword on the rising sun, symbolizes the parallel purpose of Alexander the Great’s campaign to spread the Greek spirit and culture in the countries of the East that he conquered.
MAXIM: “ΤΩ ΞΙΦΕΙ ΤΟΝ ΔΕΣΜΟΝ ΛΕΛΥΣΘΑΙ” (With the sword he untied the bond)
Arrian Alexander’s Ascension (Chapter 3, paragraph 7)
