DESCRIPTION

The M2 RCL CARL-GUSTAF 84mm anti-tank gun is a portable weapon for multiple uses, of Swedish origin. It is loaded from the rear, fired sideways and has no recoil, since the propulsion gases are released backwards.

The gun can be fired while standing, kneeling, sitting or from a prone position.

The gun’s main sighting instrument is a telescopic field glass, while the collapsible sighting instruments are auxiliary for the gun’s sighting.

The KORNET-E anti-tank system is of Russian origin. It is a heavy anti-tank third generation gun, mounted on HUMMER vehicles.

It is designated for engagement with modern and developed tanks, which are protected by active armour and for assault against lightly armoured material and fortifications. Furthermore, it can hit air targets flying at low altitude, such as hovering helicopters.

The missile of the KORNET-E system, monitored and directed semi-automatically, provides the capability of executing a well-aimed shot with the first missile.

The system provides the capability for fire from prone and kneeling position, as well as from the inside of an individual combat trench.
