On Good Wednesday 08 April 2026, the Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikos Dendias, accompanied by the Chief HNDGS, General Dimitrios Choupis, and the Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited 306 Telecommunications Base Plant in Acharnes, where the Unmanned Systems Manufacturing Workshop operates.

During the visit, the Commanding General of the Hellenic Army Support Command “THESEUS”, Lieutenant General Athanasios Saplaouras, and the Director HAGS/Transformation – Innovation Directorate, Brigadier General Apostolos Konstantopoulos briefed them on the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle prototypes, the production process, the expansion of the production line, as well as the operation of the Mobile Drone Manufacture Units, which were designed and developed by 306 TBP, in cooperation with the Hellenic Defence Ecosystem.

Subsequently, theywere given a tour at the Research and Development Laboratories of the Unmanned Systems, where they were briefed on the development of new models with cutting edge technologies.

In the framework of the visit, a VTC was held with 316 Technical Area Workshop in Toxotes, Xanthi, where they were briefed on the production capabilities of Unmanned Systems.
