On Monday, 30 March 2026, the Career NCO Academy honoured the 71st anniversary of the beginning of the EOKA National Liberation Struggle 1955-1959, on 1 April 1955.

More specifically, the event included a memorial service for the EOKA fighters, a commemorative speech by the Academy Commandant, Brigadier General Konstantinos Kotakos, and a blood donation.

103 students donated, including 25 Greek Cypriots.
