From February 16 to 20, 2026, the “PAVLOS MELAS – 26” Field Exercise (FTX) took place at Dendrochori Fire Range in the Prefecture of Kastoria, with the participation of the Artillery Second Lieutenants Basic Training Section, Army Academy/2025 Class and the Career Sergeants Basic Training Section, NCO School/2025.

During the “PAVLOS MELAS – 26” FTX, Second Lieutenants and Artillery Career Sergeants were trained in the actions and procedures carried out during defensive and offensive operations, in the modern warfare environment, and the execution of special fires with explosives, smoke and illumination projectiles.
