On Wednesday 14 January 2026, in the presence of the Chief/Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis, and the Chief/Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, the Supreme Army Support Military Command “THESEUS” Change of Command Ceremony took place at “ZORBAS” Camp, with Lieutenant General Athanasios Saplaouras assuming command from Lieutenant General Antonios Theodosiadis.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the former Minister of Citizen Protection and Honorary Chief/HAGS, General (ret.) Charalambos Lalousis, the Honorary Chief/National Guard General Staff, General (ret.) Georgios Basiakoulis, Members of the Supreme Military Council, representatives of the Chiefs of the Hellenic Navy and Air Force General Staffs, of the Hellenic Police, of the Coast Guard and the Fire Service, active and retired Officers, religious authorities, and other guests.
