The Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis had a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Commanding General for Army National Guard (ARNG) of USAREUR – AF, MG Levon E. Cumpton, on Wednesday 17 December 2025, on the premises of HAGS, following an official visit to Athens.

The reinforcement of the bonds of the two Armies was discussed, during a very amicable meeting, through:

– Exchange of views on issues of common interest.

– Examination of new sectors and fields of cooperation.

Furthermore, a briefing was conducted, in the context of the visit, with the participation of HAGS members and a delegation of USAREUR–AF, during which the ongoing and future initiatives of USAREUR–AF in Greece and in the wider region of the Southeastern Mediterranean were discussed.
