On Wednesday 24 September 2025, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis received the Chief of the Romanian Land Forces Staff Lieutenant General Ciprian Marin, at the premises of the Hellenic Army Academy (Evelpidon) in Vari – Attica, in the framework of his official visit to our country, by invitation.

During the meeting, which was conducted very amicably, they discussed the reinforcement of cooperation, they exchanged views on issues of common interest and they sought new sectors and fields of cooperation.

Subsequently, he was briefed on the Academy’s work, he was given a tour of its premises and of the Academy’s Museum and then visited the Research, Technological Development and Innovation Centre of HNDGS, where he was briefed on its work and its mission, he was given a tour of the Artificial Intelligence and Planning Laboratories and observed a static demonstration of unmanned systems.

On Thursday 25 September 2025, he visited the Engineer School, in Loutraki – Korinthia, where he observed a demonstration of the Disaster Management Special Detachment of the 747 Special Engineer Battalion.
