From 18 to 19 September 2025, within the framework of Confidence Building Measures between Greece and Turkiye, the Commanding General of Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLES” Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos visited the Commanding General of the Turkish First Army, General Bahtiyar Ersay, at the HQ of the Turkish First Army in Constantinople, reciprocating the visit of a Turkish delegation at the HQ of Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLES”, from 11 to 12 September 2024.
