From 16 to 18 September 2025, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis conducted an official visit to Egypt, by invitation.
On Wednesday 17 September 2025, the Chief went to the HQ of the Training Authority of the Egyptian Armed Forces, where he met with the Commanding General of the HQ. During the meeting, which was very amicable, issues of mutual interest were discussed, with particular emphasis on the strengthening of the bonds of the two Armies through the increase of activities of bilateral military cooperation.
