The 17th Army Underwater Demolition Course took place from 17 March to 27 June 2025 at the Special Forces Training Centre in Nea Peramos, Attica.

The Course’s objective is to provide operational special training to Special Forces Unit personnel on underwater demolition. The training included, among others, combat PT, surface swimming, subsurface swimming, airborne water jump training, and sports activities.

The graduation ceremony took place on Friday, 27 June 2025, and was attended by the Commanding General of the Special Warfare Command of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Manouras,the Commander of the Special Operations Component Command (SOCC) Major General Georgios Kapralos, the Director of the Special Forces Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Brigadier General Christos Spanidis, active duty Officers, and family members of the graduates.
