On Saturday, 21 June 2025, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of the Interior for the Sector of Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Konstantinos Gkioulekas, as representative of the Hellenic Government, and the Chief/HAGS, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, as representative of the Chief/HNDGS, General Dimitrios Choupis, festivities were held to celebrate the 112th Anniversary of the Historical Battle of Kilkis.

Amongst others, the festivities included a Divine Liturgy in the Holy Metropolitan Church Of the Saviour’s Transfiguration, a memorial service at the Monument to the Battle of Kilkis, where wreaths were laid, and a parade in the town of Kilkis.
