On Thursday, June 14 2018, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, attended the final phase of the Tactical Field Training Exercise (FTX) “DIMOKRITOS”, which was conducted by Second Lieutenants of Arms and Corps at the wider area of Xanthi, and regarded the tactical use of all the Arms and Corps during all the phases of the battle.

The FTX “DIMOKRITOS”, conducted from 08 to 14 June 2018, aims at the cooperation of the new Second Lieutenants in order to:
• Practically implement the theoretical knowledge acquired at the Application Schools and share common perceptions.

• Form a common framework of thought and comprehension, thus achieving further understanding, familiarisation and practice with all the scenarios they will be called to face.

• Develop initiative and a winner’s spirit.
We wish to all the Second Lieutenants of the 2017 Class to continue their training and career in the best possible way, to the benefit of the Country.
