On Saturday, 21 July, 2018, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis visited Areas of Responsibility of C Army Corps (“ALEXANDER THE GREAT”) Formations.
At first, he visited the area of responsibility of the 8th Motorized Brigade (8th Motorised Brigade – “VIII DIVISION OF EPIRUS”) where he attended the celebration held in Voreia Tzoumerka Municipality on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of poet Kostas Krystallis’ birth, representing the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, in the presence of H.E. the President of the Republic.
After the end of the celebration he visited the area of responsibility of the 9th Motorised Brigade (9th Motorised Brigade – “ADRIANOUPOLI”) and specifically the Greek outpost “GRAMMOS” where he spent the night.
