On the morning of Monday, 23 July 2018, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the 4th Raider Battalion in Redina, Thessaloniki, where he attended training activities.
Then he addressed the Unit’s career and enlisted personnel, focusing on:
– the high operational readiness and international recognition of the Special Forces personnel.
– the actions undertaken to upgrade the equipment and provide the Special Forces with additional personnel.
The Chief congratulated the men and women of the Special Forces for their high sense of duty and offensive spirit.
