On Thursday, 12 July 2018, within the framework of Formation operational training, the final stage of the following Field Exercises took place in the 2 Floating Craft Training Centres of D Army Corps “THRAKI”:
– Night exercise by a Mechanised Infantry Battalion Task Force with personnel and assets from the Units and Independent Subunits of the ΧΧΙΙΙ Armoured Brigade “3o SYNTAGMA IPPIKOU DORYLEO” in the Evros river delta.
– Day exercise by a Mechanised Infantry Company Task Force with personnel and assets from the Units and Independent Subunits of the 50th Mechanised Brigade “APSOS” in the Ardas river.
The activities confirmed the high level of operational readiness of the forces, as well as the excellent organisation and performance of the exercises.
