On Tuesday, August 21st 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the 181 “HAWK” Guided Missile Battalion, based at “KAPETAN MATAPA” Camp in Thessaloniki.

During his visit, the Chief was informed about the Battalion’s activities and toured the camp’s facilities.
Then, he gave a speech to the personnel, highlighting the exceptional work done at “HAWK” Units and pointing out the need to adopt new approaches to deal with daily problems.

The Chief congratulated the personnel for its professionalism and its very great sense of duty.
