On 07 and 08 October 2018, the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, visited the Area of Responsibility of the 8th Motorised Brigade – VIII MP “IPIROU”.
During his visit, he:
– was briefed in the Formation’s War Headquarters on the activities of the Brigade’s Units, within the framework of National Joint Exercise “PARMENION – 2018”.
– attended a Field Exercise conducted by the National Guardsmen of the National Guard Battalion of Kalpaki.
– attended the movement of the 8th Reconnaissance Battalion’s tanks using tank carriers.
– visited the training area of the 8th Engineer Company.
