On Monday, 31 December 2018, on the occasion of the New Year’s Eve, the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS – LAHANA” organised the following events:
– Carols by the Stefanovikio Military Airfield choir to the Union of Retired Army Officers, the Fire Service, and the Hellenic Coast Guard.
– Children’s party at the Stefanovikio Officers’ Club.
– Transportation by HUEY helicopter and distribution of presents by Santa Claus to the children of the civilian and military personnel serving in the Stefanovikio Military Airfield.
The Hellenic Army General Staff encourages the organisation of social contribution and welfare actions which:
– show the high morale and optimism of Army personnel.
– enhance the feeling of security and trust of locals to our personnel.
