On Tuesday, 05 February 2019, the Hellenic First Army Change of Command Ceremony took place in Larissa, with Lieutenant General Konstantinos Floros assuming command from Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, in the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Evangelos Apostolakis.
The ceremony was attended by the Alternate Minister of National Defence, Mr. Panagiotis Rigas, the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General (HAF) Christos Christodoulou, the Chiefs of General Staff, active duty and retired General Officers, delegations of Officers and NCOs of the Armed and Security Forces, representatives of the local civilian, political, and religious authorities, and other guests.
