On Thursday, 20 June 2019, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kambas, visited the II Mechanised Infantry Division and the 34th Mechanised Brigade in the Area of Responsibility of C Army Corps/NRDC-GR “MEGAS ALEXANDROS”, accompanied by the Formation’s Commanding General, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Koutras.
During his visit, the Chief:
– attended operational fires by a combat squad and CQB fires at the C Army Corps Proving Ground – Range, as well as training at the virtual reality firing simulator.
– was briefed on C Army Corps current activities.
– confirmed the high morale of the Formation’s career and enlisted personnel.
– addressed and provided guidelines to the personnel.
