From Monday 17 until Friday 21 May 2021, weapon systems firing as well as firing tests of Multiple Rocket Launchers RM-70 with the use of upgraded rockets, are conducted at NAMFI, Crete, in accordance with the planning and coordination of HAGS/Artillery Dte.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Deputy Chief/HNDGS Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymousis, representing the Chief/HNDGS, and the Chief/HAGS Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis attended the fires conducted on Thursday 20 May 2021.
The Commander of the 1st Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS” Lieutenant General Petros Demestichas and the Commander of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands “AIGEAS” Lieutenant General Nikolaos Flaris also attended the firings, which were accurate and effective.
