On Friday, 17 June 2022, a ceremony was held in Kilkis for the opening of the renovated Balkan Wars Museum “KILKIS” in the presence of the Commanding General of C Army Corps/NRDC-GR “MEGAS ALEXANDROS”, Lieutenant General Sotirios Kostakoglou, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff.
The ceremony was also attended by MP Ms. Irini – Eleni Agathopoulou, the Mayor of Kilkis, Mr. Dimitrios Kyriakidis, the Metropolitan of Polyani and Kilkis, Mr. Vartholomeos, and the Deputy Head of Region for the Regional Unit of Kilkis, Mr. Andreas Vergidis.
