On Tuesday, 21 June 2022, a ceremony was held for the opening of the renovated classroom building of the Career NCO School in Trikala, which was funded with an exclusive donation from Ms. Marianna Latsi.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Konstantinos Skrekas, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, and the donor, Ms. Marianna Latsi.
The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Head of Region for the Regional Unit of Trikala, Mr. Christos Mihalakis, as representative of the Head of the Region of Thessaly, the Mayor of Trikala, Mr. Dimitrios Papastergiou, the Metropolitan of Thessaliotis and Fanariofersala, Mr. Timotheos, the Army Inspector General – Commander of the Doctrine and Training Command, Lieutenant General Nikolaos Flaris, the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU OHQ “ACHILLEAS”, Lieutenant General Angelos Houdeloudis, and the former Deputy Minister of National Defence and Honorary Chief HAGS, General Alkiviadis Stefanis (ret.).
