The M577 command post carrier is of American manufacture and origin. It is an armoured command and control vehicle. It is an alternate version of the Μ113 APC and it can carry an MG3 machine gun. It requires a crew of 3 and it can transport up to 4 soldiers.
The Tactical and Technical Fire Control System “ZEUS” is a command and control system which supports Artillery operations, throughout the echelons, from Army Corps to component. It was fully developed by Greek companies and the Artillery School. It can acquire fire data for all the possible combinations of guns and ammunitions, currently at the disposal of the Greek Artillery. Furthermore, it provides the capability of management of terrain three-dimensional digital models and digital interconnection through radio stations or via wired communication assets.
The Technical Fire Control System “HERCULES” was exclusively developed by Artillery Officers and was founded on the NABK (NATO Armaments Ballistic Kernel). It supports all the functions of technical fire control and it can manage digital geographical data.
