The mission of the Supply and Transport Corps is to:

Supply the Army with:
Food supplies and bread-making equipment.
Supplies of solid and liquid fuel, lubricants and technical material.

Maintain stocks of the above mentioned supplies and conduct quality controls on food, petroleum oil and lubricants in chemical analysis laboratories.

Resupply the Army Units by air whenever and wherever required, using aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force or Army Aviation helicopters, equipped with well-trained personnel.

Perform road transport of supplies, materials and personnel using its own transport means.

Draft studies and issue technical specifications for the procurement of Class I and III supplies, as well as technical orders and manuals for the technical supervision of methods used by the Units, in order to handle their equipment and materials.

Train the personnel of Arms and Corps in its fields of competence (drivers, cooks, bakers etc) and instruct its officers in cooperation with the In-country Institutions of Higher Education (Mechanical and Chemical Engineering Faculty - National Technical University of Athens, Food Research and Technology Faculty - Agricultural University of Athens, Business Administration Faculty - University of Piraeus).

Estimate the needs, draft the annual budget and monitor the progress of supplies procurement, falling under its competence.

Work on and participate in research programmes concerning fields of its competence, in cooperation with In-country Institutions of Higher Education.
