From Monday 21st to Friday 25th of May 2018, the International Jump Week was held in Ramstein – Germany with the participation of military personnel from 10 countries (USA, United Kingdom, Spain, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Canada, Poland and Greece).

It is the first time that our Country participates in the said event, by sending a delegation of 5 servicemen (2 Officers and 3 Non-Commissioned Officers) from the Special Forces and in particular, the Parachutists’ School.

The Greek delegation performed static line and free-fall parachute jumps. Moreover, it also performed the tasks of a Jumpmaster for the jumping of foreign parachutist delegations.

Our personnel, being the most important force multiplier of the Army, with its participation in international activities, gains experience and knowledge, while at the same time the Army, the Armed Forces and our Country are being promoted abroad in the most effective way.
