Hellenic Military Academy’s Cadets’ Training in Fires Execution and Conduct of Exercises

From 28 January to 22 February 2019, the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) executed a series of fires and conducted exercises throughout Greece, in the context of the winter training. Specifically, the Cadets of the 1st and 2nd Classes executed small arms’ fires, they practiced throwing grenades and firing rifle-grenades and conducted Field Training Exercises at the Ymittos Exercise Field.

The Cadets of the 3rd Class executed fires with mortars and a machine gun, during day and night, from an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), in Avlona Firing Range, Attica. In addition, they co-trained with Army Aviation and Special Forces troops, in the conduct of air mobile and amphibious operations.

The Cadets of the 4th Class conducted Field Training Exercises during all operations’ phases and they trained on subjects of Mountain Combat, in the Olympus Mountain Combat - Skiers Training Center.

Furthermore, Cadets of all Classes attended the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course (TCCC).
