On Holy Wednesday 12 April 2023, in the context of the preparation of the Hellenic Army General Staff for the coming fire prevention period, fire-fighting flight trials were conducted over Lake Yliki by a CH-47D helicopter of the 2^nd Army Aviation Group.

The goal of the activity was the crews’ preparation and the update of procedures, with regards to the execution of fire-fighting missions.
